Our fixed fee Derby Wills pricing involves two meetings as we find that the will writing process can be completed for most, if not all this way.

The first meeting consists of getting to know you so we can understand what is important to you and what you intend to achieve by writing a will.

Our will consultant will advise the best way forward to achieve what you want.

We take down a lot of information during the first meeting so having to hand information that you think may be useful to help the process is extremely beneficial, this can include:

Identification

This can be in the form of your driving license, passport, current State Pension notification letter

The full names and addresses of people you wish to place in your Will

This is extremely helpful information to have to hand, double-checking with relatives how a name is spelt, or having already clarified addresses can cut make the process a little easy.

After this you’ll receive a draft copy to review, you can elect to have a physical draft copy dropped off through the post.

This is the time to read through the draft copy and ensure it fits with all the requests that you have made for your will, and check the names, addresses are correct.

When you receive your draft will, please take some time to check it carefully and let us know if anything needs correcting or updating. Once you confirm you are happy with the draft, we’ll arrange a final meeting. At this appointment, we provide the witnesses and guide you through the signing process, ensuring your will is completed properly and legally valid.

Why do we offer a two meeting Will writing process as standard?

The second meeting is straight-forward:
The professionally bound Will has now been created and it’s time to sign it.

Will Provider oversee and guide you through the signing of the will as we believe this is one of the most important parts to the will and is crucial to ensure that not only is it signed, but it is signed correctly in front of witnesses.

We take this approach as Will Provider believe in delivering a complete and comprehensive service as standard, we do not leave you on your own at the most vital point of a Wills validity: the signing and witnessing.
